Also called the Handicrafts Street, the Zhiren Street in Kashgar, China remains true to its name. The street has a plethora of shops that sell different types of delicately hand-crafted souvenirs. Their national cap and embroidered outfits are very popular. Other items on sale that tourists like are jewelry, antique wood carvings, ancient-style pottery, copperware, musical instruments, silk cloth, porcelain jars, decorative pieces, etc. At some of the shops you can even watch the craftsmen at work. There are also Uighur restaurants and roadside cafes where you can try out some of their delicious cuisine.
