The East Lake was built within the borders of Wuhan in 1950 it was pronounced a tourist attraction in 1982. Upon establishing the People’s Republic of China, Chairman Mao regarded the lake as its second residence. When it comes to the East Lake Park, it covers a huge surface and offers many attractions.

The Mill Stone Mountain offers more than a dozen gardens specialized in particular plants, such as cherry and plum. If you want to know more about the history, visit the Luoyan Scenic Area.
