Having a massive collection of 200,000 ancient relics, the Hubei Provincial Museum in Wuhan, China is considered a grade-A museum. It is located on the west side of the fascinating Wuhan East Lake Scenic Area. The Museum contains 16 precious national treasures and nearly 812 Class-A relics. The ancient artifacts include porcelain items, ceramic pottery, jade items, bronze utensils, Shu swords, musical instruments (chime bells), bamboo writing sheets, and more. The chime bells are a set of bells that make different sounds and they were used as musical instruments. They have 3,000 Chinese characters inscribed on them describing the sounds. Do visit the Music Hall where musicians play a replica of the Chime bells.
