With water bodies on all sides, the Gui Shan (Tortoise Mountain) is so-called because it looks like a tortoise standing on the surface of the water. It is surrounded by the Yangtze River, Moon Lake, Hanshui River, and the Lotus Lake in each direction. The famous Wangjiang Pavillion situated on Gui Hill provides the most picturesque view of all the water bodies and the surrounding scenic areas. On top of the hill is a TV tower which has a 311-meters wide viewing platform which can accommodate 300 people at a time. As it provides the best vantage point for photography, it is little wonder that the Hill is a popular tourist attraction.
