Shangli Old Town (Ya'an)

The Shangli Old Town is a regular part of the tourist circuit because it has an irresistible old-world charm. Located near Ya’an city in the Sichuan Province of China, it looks like time has stood still. There are ancient bridges, archways, temples, towers, and other structures that have never changed since centuries. The town is a treasure trove of tourist attractions, which include the Overpass in Qing Dynasty, Pearls-Spurting Spring, Two Filial & Chastity Memorial Archway, Baima Spring (White Horse Spring), the Two Immortals Bridge, and the Nine Generations Stone Memorial Archway. There are 70 stone tablets with anti-Japanese slogans that were carved during the Japanese War.
