Bada Shanren Meihu Lake Scenic Area

About 75Kms from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China is the picturesque Bada Shanren Meihu Lake Scenic Area. The memorial built for Bada Shanren (Zhu Da), a descendant of the Ming Dynasty is the highlight of the scenic area. Bada Shanren was a renowned painter. The Scenic Area is as popular as the Tengwang Ge Pavilion and has a regular stream of visitors throughout the year. It is divided into seven sections, namely the Water Town, Chinese Ink Painting, Agricultural Leisure, Cultural Expo, Three Friends of Winter, and more. It is a wonderful blend of lakes, bridges, plank roads, piers, pavilions, art galleries, and historical museums.
