The Banking Guild Hall Museum is the most ancient traditional banking place where monetary transactions were carried out and business meetings held. Also, known as the Monetary Guild Hall or the Ningbo Coin Museum, it has a vast collection of ancient coins on display. Today, banking business is not carried out in its environs. Yet, the structure stands testimony to how advanced the culture and business sense of the ancient Chinese people were. Situated on no. 10 Zhanchuan Street, its east gate is quite close to the of the downtown area, making it a popular tourist attraction.
