The Fairy Lake Botanical Gardens

The ideal climate and the location between lake and mountains are the reason why more than 6,000 plant species can be found in the Fairy Lake Botanical Garden. It was built in 1983 in the eastern part of Shenzhen. The entire garden spreads on more than 2.25 square miles of space.

The entire garden is split across six scenic areas, including the Temple Area, Lake Area, Paradise on Earth Area, Azalea and Pine Area, Fossil Forest Area, and Desert Landscape Area. You can find more than 15 specialized gardens dedicated to specific species, such as the Aquatic Plant Garden, Shade Plant Garden, and Peach Garden.
