With its abundant greenery, mountain peaks and ridges, flowering bushes, and multitude of natural water bodies; it is the most popular tourist attraction in Hangzhou. Also called the Nine Streams and Eighteen Gullies, it is a hot-spot for naturalists, trekkers, hikers, campers, photographers, as well as tourists from all over the world. The highlight of this scenic area is a small lagoon surrounded by the ancient Linhai (Forest Sea), Xizhongxi, and the Jiuhong Pavilions. There is also a small tea and snacks joint where you can enjoy the specialty tea from the nearby Longjing Tea Plantations.
