Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies

Considered the most picturesque natural landscapes in China, the Nine Creeks and Eighteen Gullies is located in the Hangzhou region. With its abundant greenery, mountain peaks and ridges, flowering bushes, and multitude of natural water bodies; it is the most popular tourist attraction in Hangzhou. Also called the Nine Streams and Eighteen Gullies, it is a hot-spot for naturalists, trekkers, hikers, campers, photographers, as well as tourists from all over the world. The highlight of this scenic area is a small lagoon surrounded by the ancient Linhai (Forest Sea), Xizhongxi, and the Jiuhong Pavilions. There is also a small tea and snacks joint where you can enjoy the specialty tea from the nearby Longjing Tea Plantations.
