Huaqing Pool

Located in Xi’an, China the Huaqing Pool has been a tourist attraction since the Tang Dynasty. Also called the Huaqing Hot Springs, the Pool was a popular bathing resort for the royals and affluent dignitaries. The Pool is surrounded by many beautiful willow trees, pavilions, bridges, and smaller pools. The most famous among these are the Lotus Flower Pool, the Nine Dragon Pool, the Frost Drifting Hall, Chengxiang Hall, and the Yichun Hall. In the center of the Nine Dragon Pool is a spectacular marble statue of Lady Yang Guifei coming out of the bath. There are also many stones with ancient calligraphy and inscriptions that are a beautiful sight.
