Eave Tile Display Hall
Xitang, China
The Xitang Ancient Water Town located in the Zhejiang Province of China looks like a painting with its canals, 104 bridges, and 122 ancient stone-slab lanes, and covered promenades. The buildings also date back to the Ming and Qing Dynasty eras. One of the most interesting tourist attractions in the town is the Eave Tile Display Hall. This is a one-of-its-kind museum that has over 300 architectural relics. Also called the Brick and Eaves Tile Display Hall, its exhibits include antique bricks, ornate eaves, carved bricks, patterned gutters, and construction-related pottery items that were used to build houses during the Ming and Qing periods.
