Located in the Xitang Ancient Water Town, Zhejiang Province, China is the famous Huguo Grain Oficial Temple (Lord Seven Temple). This temple is not dedicated to a God but to Qi Laoye, the seventh son of a reputed family who lived during the Ming Dynasty reign. He was responsible for helping the poor during a tragic famine in the region so the people had affectionately named him Lord Seven. The locals visit the temple to honor and pray for their ancestors. The 7-8 feet tall ancient bronze urn at the entrance is an impressive sight. Please avoid the fortunetellers at the temple because they don’t speak English and you won’t understand their predictions.
