With a vast area of 15,000 square meters and a built up space of 6,400 square meters, the Chen Clan Academy (Chen Jia Ci) is indeed an impressive property. It is located in Guangzhou, China and is made up of 19 large buildings, six landscaped courtyards, and nine halls. The Academy has a splendid collection of ancient carvings in wood, intricately designed pottery, ceramic sculptures, paintings, brick carvings, stone carvings, limestone sculptures, metal castings, and other artworks. These ancient pieces reflect the folk and handicraft art of the local people of the Guangdong Province. Hence, it is a one of the regular tourist attractions of the region.
