Considered an architectural marvel, the Guangzhou Opera House is located in Guangzhou City, China. With its steel, glass, and black granite construction, the Opera House looks like twin-boulders standing one of top of the other seemingly without any support. The beauty of the building is complemented by the picturesque Pearl River just outside. The exterior texture has been deliberately kept rough by the designer Zaha Hadid to give it an appearance of large pebbles resting on the water when seen from a distance. The Opera House has been on the tourist circuit for its amazing design and beautiful surroundings since its opening in 2010.
