The Chimelong Tourist Resort is a world class entertainment venue located in Guangzhou. It attracts visitors from home and abroad in vast numbers and has artists, performances, exhibitions and recreation activities that have international acclaim.

The resort is spread over a huge area and is divided in to seven avenues for people to explore, namely, Chimelong Paradise, Chimelong International Circus, Chimelong Crocodile Park, Chimelong Water Park, Chimelong Safari Park, Chimelong Golf Center and Chimelong Birds Park. All parks have separate admission tickets, the price of which will vary for grown-ups and kids measuring more than 4.9 feet (category X) and kids under 4.9 feet and retired elders (category Y) and seasons, i.e. normal days versus weekends, public holidays and summer vacation months of July and August. Combo tickets are available for most attractions, but these have different rules in terms of usage validity. The timings, too, are different for each park. Make sure to check the website and read the admission conditions carefully before you buy passes.

Coming to the resort is made easy with an exit at Hanxi Changlong metro station when taking metro line 3 or 7, that connects to Chimelong with a footbridge or a free shuttle bus service. Buses are available that will either go to the dedicated metro station, Hanxi Changlong, or Jinxiu Xiangjiang Beimen station.

The most popular of all the avenues is the Chimelong Paradise which is an amusement park with over 60 diverse attractions to keep visitors of all age and interests amused. The 10 inversions roller coaster is perhaps the most sought-after ride though there are plenty of other thrilling roller coaster rides to take your pick from. They have a neat firework display every Saturday night, beginning at 20:00, that you have to see! Tickets are RMB250/ RMB175 (X/ Y) and park opens at 09:30 and closes at 18:00/ 19:00 (weekdays/ weekends).

Chimelong Water Park is another serious contender and has some of the most innovative and advanced water rides in the world, with more additions being made continuously. This attracts a large number of global audiences to the largest Asian water park. The tickets cost RMB200/RMB140 (X/Y) except in July and August when they cost RMB280/RMB195 (X/Y). Timings are 09:30 to 21:00.

Chimelong Safari (has a wide variety of local and imported species including rare species), Chimelong Bird Park and Chimelong Crocodile Park have allure for animal lovers, children and curious people everywhere and their tickets are from RMB300 to RMB70. Try to avoid rainy days though since animals take shelter at that time.

International Circus and Golf Course (the biggest globally) are for people who prefer to indulge in less main-stream leisure activities. But that is not all there is at Chimelong Resorts. There are three hotels and restaurants on site as well that you can lodge at and enjoy wonderful local meals and take the opportunity to really immerse yourself in to the powerhouse of fun activities that the Chimelong Group offers its visitors and fans.
