The Qingping Market in Guangzhou is wonderfully positioned along the Pearl River and it spreads over 120,000 square feet of surface. The market was officially opened in 1979 and it has been offering a vast selection of products ever since. The herb and herbal medicines market didn’t get the approval of the state until 1996, but it soon became very popular.

More than 1,000 booths available in the market sell herbs, herbal medicines, and agricultural complementary products. You can find goods from more than 25 cities and 15 provinces, including products like wild water animals, such as turtle, frog, fish, etc.
