With a 1,000-year history, the Beihai Park (Northern Sea Park) in Beijing, China is the biggest and best-preserved imperial gardens. The Park has some grand and ostentatious imperial buildings as well as solemn temples. It has awesome natural flora mingling with artistically designed landscaped gardens. So there is plenty to see in the Park. Covering an area of 70 hectares, most of the Park is made up of a lake that has the picturesque Jade Flowery Islet and White Dagoba in its center. There are other beautiful sites in the Park like the Botanical Garden, Hao Pu Creek Garden, Painted Boat (Huafang) Studio, Nine Dragon Screen, and the Quiet Heart Studio.
