Beijing Workers' Stadium

Also referred to as the Gongti or Gong Ti, the Beijing Workers' Stadium is popularly used for football although it is a multipurpose stadium. It has the most advanced display screens that rotate and the bright lights are of the energy-saving types. The stadium has a capacity of over 66,000 spectators and it was the venue for the 1990 Asian Games inaugural and closing ceremonies. It has also been a venue for other International games over the last 10 years, especially football (soccer) and other stadium-type sports. For sports-lovers, the stadium is a must-see, especially because there are convenient buses going till the gates.
