Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts

Beijing, China

Designed by Paul Andrew, a French architect, Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) is an architectural marvel. The building has a unique oval-shaped dome-like structure which looks very spectacular. The NCPA is an underground 10-storied construction that goes 32.5 meters below the ground level. Some of the most famous symphonies, ballets, dance shows, operas, and other kinds of artistic performances take place here. So time-permitting, you must see at least one show. Else, you can visit the art exhibitions and participate in the thematic activities at the attraction. Busloads of tourists visit the NCPA on a daily basis throughout the year.
