Lupu Bridge is famous as the first steel arch bridge in the world with an entire length of 8.7km, linking Luban as well as Jiyang roads and crossing River Huangpu. It integrates the technology of arch bridge, cable-stayed bridge and suspension bridge with six lanes for vehicular movement. The sightseeing platform was constructed on top of the arc so that you will have the opportunity of seeing the best of the bridge and its surrounding, especially River Huangpu. You can also climb the 300 steps to the top for a better glimpse and there are lifts available for tourists who do not want to climb the stairs.
