The Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum, located on Changyang Road, Hongkou in Shanghai, is dedicated to Jewish refugees that ran away from the Holocaust in Europe during the Second World War. It was established in 2007 and features films, photographs, documents, personal items, etc., of more than 20,000 refugees that lived in the region at that time. You will be interested in the monument of the refugees which consists of over 12,000 names as well as a statue to pay tribute to their experience. Other features of the museum include two extra exhibition halls, a synagogue building, a courtyard and so on.
